Now, that's a term we don't hear too often, but this is one of those, for sure. I think the devs tried to implement some horror elements too, but I didn't really get to me. As well as the whole story, I might be too stupid, what do I know? But I just didn't follow along with the story to a 100%. It was interesting, it was a decent game, but in the end, would I recommend it? Not really. ONLY if you do what I did - picking it up during a sale. Got for like €1.49 or something along those lines. Worth that price but €12.99?! No way! NO WAY!Finally, it gave a pretty decent assessment of who I am as a person. That was neat. But that doesn't bump up the rating. Have to give a thumbs down for this, due to it not being worth the full price. Sorry, devs.Just ... kill your ego.. I love pixel art type games. But come on guys, way too much LCD and DMT for us normal gamers. Just throw us into a stereotypical doom sort of game with this type of graphics and combat. Why make this about ego death and self image? Almost like emo kid tries DMT and is playing doom at the same time. Too much for me to recommend. if the story was different then sure, would recommend it all day long. Thank god I got this in a games bundle.. Replayed five times for every achievement but honestly enjoyed it every time. 7/10. Seems more like a series of fetch-quests with minigames than a fps game. Crosshair is lowered like in PREY (2017 videogame) and you have to always to look up to shoot something.They did not mentioned in trailer that you will have to click-though so many text bobbles.The scene scriptings and effects are nice, but do not compensate the long linear wolfenshtein3d-alike levels you will have to walk through.Evrything you kill with shotgun - will gonna spawn alot of gibs - even the ghost that dies in black smoke.I really hated the text bubbles and constant scenery switches because guess what - you get all the weapons removed!And In game about moral choises - you even unable to shoot NPCs and have to use dialogues. This is sad.. Very meh. If you want philosophy through a DOOM HUD, then the game is for you. It wants specific answers to deep questions but doesn't allow the player to form their own opinion.. Loved this game. Incredible level design for a pixel graphic game. Will probably play again in the near future.. to anyone who reads this, dont listen to the naysayers, they went into the game expecting a mindless shooter, this game is much more.
